Resume vs. Reality

Thursday, April 17, 6pm - 7:30pm EST

Résumé vs. Reality
is a candid, supportive virtual session for professionals navigating the tough space between who they are on paper and what they're doing to survive. Whether you're in between roles, underemployed, or grappling with a title or pay cut, this space is for you.

We’ll explore:

  • The truth about social status anxiety

  • How to manage the emotional weight of taking a step down

  • Ways to reframe your narrative without shame

  • Practical mindset shifts to preserve your confidence and clarity

  • How to maintain your professional identity when the prestige is gone

This is not about climbing the ladder faster.
This is about staying grounded when you feel knocked off of it.

Pay-what-you-can. Come as you are. You're not less—you’re just in a plot twist. And you're not alone.

Facilitator: Dr. Jade Singleton (Ed.D.) is a workplace gaslighting researcher and culture strategist who has advised organizations like NASA, the United Nations, Amazon, and Uber Europe—and who once held it all together with a name tag and non-skid shoes at Olive Garden. She brings both executive insight and lived experience to this session.
